I've written and directed seven original works since 2013 in collaboration with musicians, designers, and performers, in addition to directing scripted plays and interactive workshops for the public. My original performance work has been produced and supported by Theatre Bay Area, Z Space, San Jose Repertory Theater, Hemera Foundation, Body-Mind Centering Association, Cutting Ball, and Scatterstate Theater, among others. I also research collaborative play-making and have designed and taught courses in playwriting, devised theater, and physical approaches to acting independently and at American Conservatory Theater, University of Toledo, and as a Director/Dramatist with the San Francisco Opera Guild. I studied contemporary performance at Naropa (MFA) and UCLA (BA).

I'm originally from the Bay Area and currently based in Brooklyn. caitlyntella@gmail.com. IG @beeskneez.
