I'm a poet and the author of the chapbook Sky Cracked Open the Proscenium Frame (DoubleCross Press, 2022). My poetry additionally appears in Fence, Wonder, Flaunt Magazine, Nat. Brut, Dirt Child, MARY, and Witch Craft. I contribute a column on contemporary performance at The Quarterless Review called Rituals.
I've written and directed seven original plays since 2013 in collaboration with musicians, designers, and actors, in addition to directing scripted plays and interactive workshops for the public. My original performance work has been produced and supported in the San Francisco Bay Area by Theatre Bay Area, Z Space, San Jose Repertory Theater, Hemera Foundation, Body-Mind Centering Association, Cutting Ball, and Scatterstate Theater, among others. As an educator, I researched collaborative play-making and taught courses in psychophysical acting at American Conservatory Theater, University of Toledo, San Francisco Opera Guild, and independently. I studied theater and contemporary performance at Naropa (MFA) and UCLA (BA).
